Licence and location
We confirm the licence on the regulator's own register (for example the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the UK Gambling Commission or iGaming Ontario) and note which states, provinces or countries the casino may legally serve. If we cannot verify a licence, the review says so in the first paragraph.
Account and verification
We register with real details, complete identity checks and record how long they take and what documents were asked for. Age rules (18+ or 21+) are stated as the casino and the regulator set them.
Deposits and bonus terms
We deposit with at least one common method and read the full bonus terms: wagering requirement, game weighting, maximum bet while wagering, expiry and any cap on winnings. We explain the terms in plain numbers.
Play
We play the games most readers look for (slots, blackjack, roulette and live dealer tables where offered) on desktop and on a phone, and note the game providers, published return-to-player figures and anything that did not work.
Withdrawal, timed
We request a withdrawal and time it from the moment we ask, not from the moment the casino approves it. A casino that quotes 24 hours and pays in five days is scored on the five days.
How the score works
The score out of 10 weighs licensing and safety first, then payout speed and reliability, then bonus terms, then games and the app. Scores are the desk's judgement, they are not predictions and they are not financial advice. When a casino changes its terms or its payout times, we update the review and say what changed.
