Responsible gambling

Gambling should cost what you decided it would cost and nothing more. If it has stopped being fun, or you are spending money or time you did not plan to, help is free and confidential.

Tools a licensed casino must offer

  • Deposit limits by day, week or month, set before you play.
  • Time-outs and reality checks that remind you how long you have played.
  • Self-exclusion for six months or more, and national schemes such as GAMSTOP in Great Britain.

Signs to take seriously

Chasing losses, borrowing to play, hiding how much you spend, or feeling anxious when you are not playing are all reasons to stop and talk to someone. You do not need to wait until it feels serious.
