Most sweepstakes casinos are shop windows for other people's slots. High 5 Casino is different, because its parent, High 5 Games, is the studio that made Double Da Vinci Diamonds and a long list of land-based hits. That is the whole pitch, and it is worth testing against the usual sweepstakes complaints: coins that vanish, redemption rules that change, and a cash-out floor that suits nobody.
Some ground rules first. This is a sweepstakes site, not a real-money casino: you play with Game Coins (no cash value) and Sweeps Coins, or SC, which can be redeemed for prizes. You need to be 21 or older and live in an eligible US state. We worked from High 5's own help pages and an independent review, and we did not run a cash-out ourselves, so every payout time below is the operator's published figure.
What the studio behind the site changes
High 5 Games says it was founded in 1995 and develops slots for land-based, online and social markets. The site claims 1,500+ slot games, which is a respectable number but smaller than the biggest sweepstakes lobbies. SportsGrid's review counted 1,200+ on the website and more than 800 in the app, and noted that some third-party titles, NetEnt among them, sit alongside the in-house ones. The counts do not match, so treat any single figure with suspicion.
What you do get is a set of games that are hard to find elsewhere in sweepstakes form, and the sign-up page leads with one of them, Billionaire's Bank. If you already like High 5 Games slots from casinos or other apps, that is a real reason to be here. If you want the broadest lobby with the most studios, it is not.
The starter pack is a purchase, not a gift
The home page says join free, and that is true, but the headline offer is not free. The page says 200 spins on Billionaire's Bank for $9.99, and a footnote on the join form values those spins at SC 0.10 each and states that a $9.99 purchase is required. Twenty SC of spin value for ten dollars sounds fine until you remember that the SC only becomes redeemable after playthrough.
Free play does exist. The daily bonus and a 4-hour bonus drop Game Coins and Diamonds, and the daily login can include free SC. SportsGrid and the site quote different welcome amounts, so we would not plan around a number until you see it on your own screen.
